What are the differences between the Open License and EZPay License Options?

 

The Open License option never expires.  You pay once for the right to continue using the version of RationPRO MVP you paid for.  When an update for RationPRO MVP becomes available you have the option to purchase the update at the current update price.  The Open License option comes with 60 days technical support.

 

The EZPay license option is a reoccurring lease that expires annually.  Your license fee gives you the right to use RationPRO MVP for one year.  If you decide not to renew your EZPay lease RationPRO MVP will operate in Read Only mode only.  This means you will only be able to view saved rations and not record any new rations.  When you renew your license agreement you will receive a registration code that allows you to continue operating the program for another year.  The EZPay license option guarantees that you always receive updates at no additional cost and can always receive technical support by phone or email.

Am I limited to the number of ingredients I can have in a ration?

 

There are no limits to the number of ingredients or ingredient mixes contained by a ration.

I am a Nutrition Consultant. Can I have separate ingredient libraries for each of my clients?

 

Yes, RationPRO MVP Multiple Producer version allows you to keep a master ingredient library and an ingredient library for each of your producer clients.

I am a Dairy Producer who is interested in learning how to balance my own rations.  Can RationPRO MVP help me learn?

 

RationPRO MVP helps you learn nutrition because it makes it easy for you to experiment with different ingredients and mixes.  The balancer results screen shows you why a ration may not balance and gives hints on what to do to get the results you want.  Everybody has their own philosophy on how to balance rations and RationPRO MVP gives you the tools to formulate rations on your terms.

What are the differences between the single producer and multiple producer versions of RationPRO MVP?

 

The single producer version is designed for Dairy Producers.  It assumes you are creating rations for your own herd and have no need for multiple ingredient libraries. 

 

The multiple producer version allows you to keep your Dairy Producer clients separated with individual ingredient libraries and ration search capabilities.

I am an existing RationPRO user.  Can the rations I created in RationPRO be used by RationPRO MVP?

Rations created in RationPRO can be imported into RationPRO MVP.  RationPRO MVP will add all ingredients used in the RationPRO ration to the RationPRO MVP ingredient library and copy the necessary ration properties.

How many nutrients can RationPRO MVP balance on?

At this point over 30 different nutrients.  As with all of our products, RationPRO MVP will continue to evolve and be continually updated with new features including additional nutrient constraints.  The following is a partial listing of nutrients you can balance for:
